I’m excited to share that my full-orchestra arrangement of Toccata and Fugue in D Minor is now officially available!
Commissioned by Dr. Kevin Bartram and the Fredericksburg Symphony Orchestra, this new version expands a short 60-second idea I wrote years ago into a full-length concert showpiece. It reimagines Bach’s iconic Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, BWV 565 for full orchestra, drums, electric guitar, and solo electric violin—a modern, high-energy take that blends the grandeur of the symphony with the power of rock.
While the piece features bold climaxes and driving rhythms, it also includes quiet, reflective moments that highlight the beauty of the original work. My goal was to create the kind of thrilling experience I imagine Bach’s audiences might have felt when hearing his music for the first time—filled with awe, contrast, and wonder.
You can now preorder the full score and parts, solo violin sheet music, and performance accompaniment tracks directly from my website.
