Greensleeves (Violin) - Soloist Suite
Epic Christmas Series
VIOLIN SOLOIST SUITE
Everything a Soloist Needs — $39
A $125 Total Value
Greensleeves is the timeless English melody also known as the Christmas carol “What Child Is This.”
Everything a violinist needs to perform Greensleeves, whether you have a pianist or you are playing over a track. This is the arrangement that started it all, built for the working soloist.
Sheet Music
The solo violin part and the piano accompaniment, with an alternate version of each. The solo violin part folds in the cello line, so one violinist can carry the whole melody without a cellist.
Performance Accompaniment Tracks
Full-tempo orchestra backing for live performance, with a ride-cymbal count-in and a split track (click panned left, music panned right) so you can lock in on in-ears. None include the solo violin, since you are playing that live. Plan to perform with the split track. It is the easiest way to stay in time.
Rehearsal Tracks
A piano-only accompaniment for rehearsing with just the piano, and a slower ride-cymbal pulse track so you can master the fast passages before you bring them up to performance speed.
Reference Recording
The violin and piano version, so you know exactly how it should sound.
