You may already know my full orchestra version of Of the Father's Love Begotten. Here's a new arrangement, for solo violin, string orchestra, and piano.
Same joyful, Celtic energy, now set for string orchestra and piano instead of full orchestra. It has an almost Disney-esque magic to it, epic in its own way without being heavy-handed. The solo part is still advanced, with fast runs and sextuplets for a strong soloist, a guest artist, or your top student. The string parts stay approachable, so a school, church, or community group can take them on.
I built in some flexibility too. There's a Violin III (Viola T.C.) part if you're short on violas, and a simplified piano part for a less advanced accompanist.
