These tracks are demo recordings from a Christmas program that we created at New Hope Church. It’s is our adaptation of a very old tradition that churches have used to celebrate the birth of Jesus using nine short Bible readings from Genesis, the prophetic books and the Gospels. We used “The Voice” translation for this and had our actors “perform” these scriptures rather that just read them which made for a powerful experience. I composed original music to underscore these performances. We added songs and dramatic elements in between the Lessons (readings).

We are considering the possibility of making the program’s resources available to other churches. This would include the reference DVD, the demo mp3 tracks, performance mp3 tracks, audio stems, Ableton Live file, Finale files, PDF sheetmusic for choir and orchestra, powerpoint slides, promotional art and our set-list. This would not include 3rd party song and drama material but we will provide you with info on where to purchase these.
